District Education Office is responsible for monitoring educational, administrative, and legal activities for schools in the district under the Department of Education, Government of India.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role of an Information Technology Support Analyst for District Education Officer, located in Islamabad with flexibility for some remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. They will respond to queries, walk clients through necessary steps to resolve technical difficulties, and provide training and education on established IT systems. This role requires exceptional communication, detail orientation, and troubleshooting skills to provide a high level of customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information technology support role and experience working with remote clients
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and workflow management tools
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of software and hardware issues
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work under high-pressure situations
- Strong customer service orientation, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems
