Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive IT Specialist to oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure and systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our technology platforms, delivering technical support to our team, and optimizing overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Source Pivot’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and telecommunications systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the security, reliability, and availability of IT resources.
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to employees on IT-related matters.
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols and procedures to safeguard company data and systems.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to integrate and optimize IT solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role, preferably within the market research or related industry.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and server administration.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
