Job Description

Overview: As a Finance Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization. You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and interpreting financial information, and then presenting findings to management. Your insights and reports will inform strategic decisions and drive financial transparency within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. Identify trends, variances, and anomalies to provide meaningful insights.
  2. Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  3. Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets. Monitor performance against budgeted figures and provide explanations for variances.
  4. Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets. Develop automated reporting processes to streamline data collection and report generation.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Accounting, Treasury, and Operations, to gather data and ensure accuracy of financial reports. Support audit processes and respond to audit inquiries.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (ERP systems, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
