Job Description
Join our team at M&P Express Logistics as a Cost Specialist in the role of Deputy Manager Costing & Pricing. You will be responsible for leading the costing of the company and its services, including preparing costing models, identifying cost drivers, and analyzing cost-saving opportunities. Your role will also involve monthly cost reconciliation, feasibility studies, annual budget preparation, and travel to different locations for cost parameter decisions.
- Prepare costing model key identifying relevant cost drivers.
- In-depth understanding of procedures along with cost involved.
- Identifies key opportunities for cost savings initiatives through analysis, benchmarking, and best practices.
- Monthly reconciliation/comparison of actual costs with the costing model.
- Prepare feasibilities as and when required.
- Support in preparation of Annual Budget and Monthly Reporting.
- May need to travel regularly/occasionally to Regions/Branches and various locations for understanding and deciding cost parameters.
