Job Description
This position at Hue.pk involves working as an accountant with responsibilities including preparing accurate financial statements, forecasting costs and revenues, managing tax payments, accounts payable, and maintaining financial controls. The role requires providing precise quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all account transactions
- Preparing budget forecasts
- Publishing financial statements on time
- Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Ensuring timely bank payments
- Computing taxes and preparing tax returns
- Managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reporting on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Auditing financial transactions and documents
- Reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups when necessary
- Complying with financial policies and regulations
Requirements and Skills:
- Work experience as an accountant
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the generally accepted accounting principles
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BSc in accounting, finance, or relevant degree
- Additional certification is a plus
