Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithms to calculate navigation solutions from detected objects in images and converting these solutions into commands to control autonomous vehicles. This role requires expertise in image processing, navigation systems, and control theory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement navigation and control algorithms for UAVs based on detected objects in images.
- Integrate image-based solutions with navigation systems to provide real-time control commands.
- Conduct simulations to validate the performance of navigation and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve image processing, navigation, and control systems issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in navigation and control systems for autonomous vehicles.
- Strong background in navigation and control theory.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
- Experience with simulation tools and environments like Gazebo, ROS, or MATLAB/Simulink.
