Job Description
The Quality Assurance Coordinator & Compliance Auditor will be specifically responsible for:
- The safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and the company’s policy and procedures.
- Ensuring that accurate records are maintained according to legal requirements to ensure efficiency in the business.
- Implementing quality management and improvement systems.
- Ensuring open channels of communication with service users, their families and representatives, staff and other health and social care professionals to deliver high-quality home care services.
- Advising and guide staff on policies and CQC standards.
- Ensuring that audits are completed to ensure that standards are maintained.
- Conducting health, safety and risk management audits.
- Conducting remote, pre-audits, telephone, and desktop audits as per the Annual Audit Schedule.
- Administering Audits by QA Officers / Coordinator, UK QA Auditor, and self-audits by area and line managers.
- Administering Property Visit Reports by Housing Officers.
- Expediting Audits & Non-Conformities (chase-ups).
- Attending Meetings.
- Ensuring Health and Safety Legislation adherence at all times.
- Investigating non-compliance issues and highlighting concerns.
- Promoting a compliance culture continuously.
- Staying updated with law, best practices, and company policies and effectively communicating them.
