Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic AI Controls Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about robotics, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, computer science, or related fields.
Key Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Mechatronics, Computer Science (CS), or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
- Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge of the Robot Operating System (ROS) or MAVLink.
- Hands-on experience with flight controllers like Pixhawk.
- Familiarity with systems based on the MAVLink protocol, such as ArduPilot or PX4 flight controllers and their integration with onboard edge devices like Nvidia Jetson.
- Development Experience: Some knowledge and practical experience in modifying ArduPilot and/or PX4 source code.
- Algorithmic Understanding: Familiarity with controls, guidance, and navigation algorithms.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
- Understanding of aerodynamics and flight control systems.
- Experience with OpenCV and ML-based object detection and tracking algorithms.
