Job Description
Program: Maternal and Child Health
Grade: Officer
Reporting To: Project Manager
Employment Type: Full Time (Contractual)
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Job Purpose: Responsible for counseling project beneficiaries on the importance of breastfeeding and providing support.
Responsibilities:
- Assure quality of care and follow up on work results.
- Provide breastfeeding counseling to patients and the healthcare team.
- Travel to field sites in Karachi and other districts.
- Offer counseling and support to study participants.
- Liaise with government and field staff to discuss progress.
- Document all activities and collect data routinely.
- Other duties assigned by the line manager.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Nutrition (BS) degree.
Required Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, working in Sindh province desirable.
Required Skills:
- MS Office skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Independence and initiative.
- Sindhi language skills preferred.
