Overview

ConnectX seeks a seasoned Construction Director to lead and oversee the successful execution of construction projects for our UK-based esteemed client. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality projects aligned with Clients’ vision. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in UK construction industry, with expertise in complex projects, site acquisition, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from site acquisition to completion. Develop and execute comprehensive construction plans, manage teams, and ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with ConnectX Clients and other stakeholders. Provide exceptional client service and focus on business development.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, including those related to site acquisition. Develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor construction teams. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, preferably from UK/Europe.
• Minimum 12 years’ construction management experience, including site acquisition.
• Proven track record in delivering complex construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry best practices and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• RICS accreditation preferred.

Desired Skills

• Experience in residential or commercial construction.
• Understanding of airspace development.
• PMP certification.
• Knowledge of real estate market trends and valuation.

Hours & Commitment

This is a full-time position, and selected candidates will be required to work according to UK timings – 9 am to 6 pm (UTC+1)
