Role Summary:
The Accounts Manager will head the accounting department and supervise the organization’s financial operations. This position involves ensuring precise financial reporting, according to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, accounting principles knowledge, and team management skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, manage month and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee daily operations including payable, receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Act as the primary liaison with auditors.
- Manage relationships with internal departments and vendors.
- Implement accounting software and policies.
Requirements:
- Masters in Accounting/Finance, CA/ACCA/ACMA/CPA.
- 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills in budgeting, ERP software, data analysis, negotiation, and leadership.
- Understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and accounting standards.
