Job Description
Responsible for providing independent assurance on Company Owned and Dealer owned sites and identify, investigate and recommend solutions to minimize risks. To provide training, support and advice to the Territory Managers team in resolving risk related issues. Support and advise the wider Retail business as required to minimize risk and improve compliance. Support the implementation, testing and monitoring of a fit for purpose risk-based controls framework within Retail and Trading & Supply, ensuring full alignment with Group policy and process requirements. Identify business risk areas and conduct planned and ad-hoc reviews with proper reporting to stakeholders. Responsible for ensuring that all economic and financial considerations are appropriately reflected in the investment/divestment decision-making process in Retail (functional expert for economic evaluation). Ensure alignment with Retail strategy and T&R; ensure compliance with Group policies, most notably accounting policies; check and, where appropriate, challenge DCF calculations. Review and evaluate site profitability reports and lead the turnaround discussions with Sales Team for underperforming sites. Support the monitoring, documentation and dissemination of learning incidents within the Market Units.
