Job Description
Position Summary: Join us as a second-in-command to enhance monthly capacity and improve workflow efficiency at a leading publishing house.
Core Responsibilities: Includes building author relationships, proofreading, developing contracts, editing manuscripts, and liaising with external partners.
Complementary Responsibilities: Involves developing quotation comparisons, reviewing submissions and catalogues, attending book launches, and corresponding with international publishers.
Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as needed.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English Literature or Journalism, 4-6 years of relevant experience, strong proofreading and editing skills, excellent English language proficiency, and exceptional organizational abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Rs. 130,00 to Rs. 180,00 per month
