Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure
- Resolving complex network issues
- Upgrading data network equipment and software
- Configuring, installing, and supporting network equipment
- Performing network maintenance and system upgrades
- Collaborating with network architects to optimize system performance
- Evaluating network performance and managing network security
- Performing network monitoring and proactively addressing potential issues
- Producing and maintaining network documentation and diagrams
- Participating in an on-call rotation to provide support for network-related issues
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure and hardware
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking equipment
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN technologies
- Strong understanding of network security and firewall technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
