Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Accountant to join our Lahore team at ACCA Careers. The ideal candidate will provide accounting services for our UK-based practice, requiring strong English communication skills and a deep understanding of UK accounting standards.
Educational Requirements: Must be ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ACMA, or CPA qualified with knowledge of UK accounting standards like GAAP and IFRS.
Experience Requirements: Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a UK-based firm, with strong leadership skills and knowledge of UK tax systems.
Technical Skills: 5-7 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Xero software, and expertise in financial reporting, tax planning, and budgeting.
Soft Skills: Excellent English communication, leadership abilities, client communication skills, and adaptability to international standards.
Responsibilities: Managing Lahore office’s accounting functions, ensuring UK accounting compliance, and leading a team of accountants.
Other Qualifications: Understanding of cross-border finance, knowledge of international financial regulations, and willingness to coordinate with the UK office.
