Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role, located in Lahore with flexibility for remote work, for a Desktop Tech Support Specialist at DigiGlobe. The Desktop Tech Support Specialist will provide technical support for desktop/laptop computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices for end users. They will troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Specialist will also contribute to the development and improvement of policies, procedures, and documentation regarding desktop support services.
Qualifications:
- Experience providing technical support for desktop/laptop computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices for end users in a professional environment.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows and Mac Operating Systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office365, and Remote Desktop Services.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving printer connectivity and print queue issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to create and update technical documentation, analyze complex problems, and communicate technical solutions to non-technical people.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, an associate’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and developments to provide recommendations for upgrades and enhancements.
