Role Description:
This is a contract, on-site role for a Geographic Information Systems Manager based in Karachi Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for GIS Applications, Enterprise GIS, Analytical Skills, Data Management, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The role involves managing data collection, processing, analysis, and creating accurate maps of the areas of operation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in GIS Applications, Enterprise GIS, Analytical Skills, Data Management, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Experience working with spatial databases, developing and maintaining spatial data models, and managing data collection and analysis
- Ability to design, develop, and implement GIS systems including data analysis, mapping, and application development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate GIS information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science or related field
- Experience in disaster management or humanitarian response is a plus
