Job Description
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building maintenance, preferably in a residential or university setting.
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of residential buildings and facilities.
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate utilities usage for efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Liaise with residents, staff, and contractors.
