Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Transcriptionist located at the MAROOF International Hospital in Islamabad. The role requires transcribing medical reports and other related documents from physicians and other healthcare providers into a written or electronic format. The Medical Transcriptionist will also be responsible for typing, reviewing, and editing transcribed reports for accuracy and completeness, and ensuring confidential handling of patient information.
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical transcription or a related field
- Proficiency in using dictation software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred
