Job Description
This position requires an individual with skills and experience in database and application installation, configuration, and administration on a Linux/Windows platform. The candidate must have expertise in EBS and SAP application architecture, including concurrent managers, workflow, and application layout on infrastructure. Responsibilities include capacity planning, space management, database and application upgrades/migrations, performance analysis and troubleshooting, and managing database and application backups. The core deliverables for this role are the effective execution of processes such as cloning, patching, and high-availability disaster recovery setups.
Functional Knowledge:
- Installation and configuration of Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB2 databases on Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Administration (Installation and configuration) of multi-node Oracle EBS, SAP, and JBoss application servers.
- Monitoring application-related products like oacore, oafm etc.
Skills:
Database and application administration. System and Security Administration. Management of multiple concurrent data streams. Analytical and logical reasoning. Problem-solving skills. Risk management. Presentation skills
Experience: 6-8 Years of relevant experience
- Qualification: BS-CS (4 Years) or MS Computer Sciences, APPS DBA Certification will be an edge.
