Job Description

We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Climate Change Adaptation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to help communities and organizations mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Your main duties will include conducting research, assessing vulnerabilities, and working with stakeholders to develop adaptation plans. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented strategies.

Qualified candidates should possess a strong background in climate change science, with a focus on adaptation. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with various stakeholders, including government agencies, communities, and non-profit organizations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Previous experience in climate change adaptation projects is highly desirable.
