Job Description
The Senior Finance Officer – Payables at U Microfinance Bank Limited is responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts payable functions. This role includes processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring payment accuracy, and compliance with financial policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports.
- Prepare and process payments via various methods.
- Maintain communication with vendors on payment status and discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger and general ledger regularly.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and prepare required reports.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with finance team.
Skills Required:
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance.
- Experience in high-volume accounts payable environment.
Qualification & Experiences:
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
