Job Description
We are currently seeking an Assoc Field Professional for the Measurement While Drilling (MWD) position. As an MWD professional, you will play a crucial role in the oil and gas industry by providing real-time data on drilling operations. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining MWD tools while ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate MWD tools and ensure they are properly calibrated and functional
- Monitor drilling parameters and communicate with drilling team for optimal performance
- Analyze data and provide real-time updates on well status, formation evaluation, and drilling logs
- Collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot any issues and identify solutions
- Maintain detailed records of MWD activities and ensure accuracy of data reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Prior experience in MWD operations is preferred
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
