Job Description
Typically, the Fixed Assets Lead at Shell is accountable for fixed assets management, Accounting, and Reporting. Responsibilities include:
- Recording capitalization and disposals of fixed assets.
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register with updated location and physical tagging.
- Monitoring CAPEX, ensuring timely capitalization, and reporting any delayed AUC’s.
- Following up on asset capitalization requests and providing support to stakeholders.
- Preparing detailed disclosures of PPE for statutory reporting.
- Performing WBS settlements, tracking capex accruals, and developing reporting mechanisms on SAP and Power BI tools.
