Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of data science initiatives, aligning them with overall business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with C-level executives and key decision-makers to define and drive the organization’s data science and analytics strategy.
- Utilize your expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques to solve complex problems in the field of quantitative finance.
- Design experiments, conduct data cleansing, and perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
- Develop and implement algorithms to automate data processing and analysis tasks.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Extensive expertise in classification, regression, boosting, and time-series analysis.
- Hands-on experience with model monitoring, evaluation, and valuation practices.
- Proficiency in Generative AI techniques.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with a track record of implementing complex algorithms.
- Cloud experience in deploying and managing Data Science and ML models.
- Previous experience in the Trading domain and Quantitative Finance is a must.
Experience:
- 8 to 15 years of proven experience in the Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence space.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a backend engineering team.
- Previous experience in the Trading domain and Quantitative Finance is a must.
