Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Engineer located in Karachi Division. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, network security, and troubleshooting of network issues. The Network Engineer will also be responsible for identifying and meeting the network requirements of the organization as well as ensuring network availability, security, and performance.
Qualifications:
- Network Administration, Network Engineering, and Network Design skills
- Must have done at least 2 to 3 complex implementations.
- Experience in Network Security and Troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient network solutions. This includes planning, configuring, and optimizing Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of switching and routing protocols, including VLANs, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and STP. Implement best practices to ensure network stability and redundancy.
- Experience in data, voice, and video networking technologies
- Knowledge of Network monitoring, performance optimization, and capacity management
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
