Job Description
Job Description: The Summer Cross Functional Internship at GE Vernova is open for current university students. Interns will collaborate with various teams to enhance customer experience, focusing on Operations and Engineering departments for a 5-6 month summer period.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Participate in process improvement projects and lead tasks across functions.
- Work closely with the global Engineer team.
- Support standardizing processes for Power Plant availability and Reliability improvement.
- Own tasks, lead, and track resolution to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the local Operations team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or enrolled in an engineering program.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of power generation field.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
Desired Characteristics:
- Preferably Mechanical or Electrical engineering background.
- Passionate about Power Generation field.
- Good academic standing and communication skills.
- Previous internships in power generation preferred.
- Continuous improvement and critical thinking mindset.
