Job Description

Job Summary: The Traffic Agent is responsible for managing and regulating traffic flow, ensuring safety and compliance with traffic laws and regulations. This role involves monitoring traffic conditions, directing vehicles and pedestrians, and responding to traffic incidents to minimize congestion and enhance public safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Traffic Control:
- Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic using hand signals and control devices.
- Enforce traffic laws and ensure smooth traffic flow.
- Incident Management:
- Respond to traffic accidents and emergencies, coordinate with authorities, and assist as needed.
- Set up roadblocks and detours during emergencies.
- Public Assistance:
- Provide assistance to drivers and pedestrians, address inquiries, and offer support professionally.
- Record and report traffic incidents and issues for documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Intermediate
- Experience: Previous traffic control or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
- Basic knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Physical stamina to work in varied conditions.
