Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Specialist at Chalk Talk HR & OD Consulting. The Cost Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and managing costs, job order costing, product costing, ensuring cost control, and providing financial insights and guidance to the organization. Additionally, the Cost Specialist will collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate cost reporting and budget management.
Qualifications
- Cost Accounting, Cost Control, and Cost Management skills
- Analytical Skills and Finance skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as CMA or CIMA is a plus
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
