Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Book Formatting: Prepare manuscripts for publication in both print and digital formats. Ensure accurate and visually appealing formatting, including typography, layout, and design.
- Publishing Operations: Manage the entire publishing process, from manuscript acquisition to listing on platforms. Coordinate with authors, editors, designers, and printers. Oversee production schedules and quality control.
- Digital Publishing: Prepare ebooks for various digital platforms (e.g., Amazon Kindle, Apple Books). Manage metadata and distribution to online retailers.
- Print Publishing: Coordinate print production, including proofing, printing, and binding. Ensure adherence to industry standards and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of book publishing processes and industry standards.
- Experience with digital publishing platforms and distribution channels.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
