Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for optimum level of inventory of raw materials.
- Creation of Purchase Orders for the Material needs given by the Planning department.
- Verification of quotation analysis with Purchase.
- Handling entire procurement cycle from opening of LC until shipments are affected.
- Communicate Lead times, costing, and inventory sheets to analyze with team the possibility of savings.
- Follow up for pending orders and shipments.
- Documents tracking to avoid detention and demurrage for timely clearance of goods.
- Building strong working relationships internally and with suppliers.
- Deal with international suppliers, keeping up with new trends and regulations.
- Close monitoring of inventory level to meet demand variation and planning safety stock.
- Monitoring Bills of Material and identification of variances in material consumptions.
- Close control to ensure On Time in Full (OTIF) delivery.
- Close coordination with receiving team to plan smooth material receiving.
- Track all CFR shipments and ensure timely presentation of shipping documents for smooth clearing.
- Cash flow analysis for material ordering and sharing LCs/CADs/TT as per needed time.
- Fulfilling service center needs.
- Any additional responsibility instructed by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
- Relevant BE or Business degree.
- 1-3 years relevant experience.
- Specific software knowledge Oracle.
- Technical knowledge about materials.
