Job Description
The position is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, employee clearances, full and final settlements, and statutory compliance with EOBI, SESSI, and PESSI. This role ensures that all HR operations are executed efficiently and accurately, in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to payroll.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Employee Clearances and Settlements:
- Manage the employee clearance process for exiting employees, ensuring all company property is returned and necessary documentation is completed.
- Handle full and final settlements, including calculating final pay, leave encashment, and other dues.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with EOBI, SESSI, and PESSI regulations.
- Manage the registration, contributions, and benefits processes associated with these statutory bodies.
- Maintain up-to-date records and submit required reports to the relevant authorities.
Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor two HR associates, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify development needs for the team.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
HR Operations:
- Streamline and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other HR functions to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices.
- Prepare and present regular reports on HR operational metrics to senior management.
Employee Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll, clearances, and statutory compliance issues.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll management, and statutory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, EOBI, SESSI, and PESSI regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (FlowHCM is a big plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
