Key Responsibilities:
- Support Category Manager in developing and executing category strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, preferences, and competition.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize category performance.
- Assist in product assortment selection and management.
- Contribute to promotional plans and pricing strategies.
- Analyze category performance metrics and provide recommendations.
- Assist in vendor negotiations and contract management.
- Coordinate with inventory purchaser or buyer to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams regarding inventory needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Prior experience in retail or category management preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
