Job Description
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a 4-year degree in CS/IT or related field OR a master’s degree in CS/IT.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a senior backend role.
- Experience with Magento is a plus.
- Proficiency in MySQL Server Database.
- Familiarity with cloud best practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Knowledge of SCRUM Agile methodology.
- Proficient in a backend programming language like PHP, C, C#, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience with custom frameworks and complex business logic handling.
- Understanding of Mapbox, Google Places API, TFL Underground.
- Expertise in MySQL, including EAV database structure.
- Experience with GraphQL is a bonus.
- Experience with frontend technologies like React/Angular is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and maintain APIs.
- Create database schemas supporting business processes.
- Handle data migration, transformation, and scripting.
- Integrate and manage databases like MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch.
- Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git.
- Skilled in benchmarking and optimization.
- Familiarity with continuous integration (CI).
