Job Description
- Manage and maintain server hardware and software, including operating systems, virtualization technologies, and storage systems.
- Install and monitor servers in different operating systems (Windows and Linux).
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure servers and virtual machines on-premises data centers.
- Install, maintain, patch, and upgrade software applications and operating systems.
- Maintain Managed Anti-Virus Protection software, Enterprise Backup Services/Solutions, File sharing, Email Archiving Services/Solutions, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Project and Microsoft Outlook and Exchange Servers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including hardware and software failures.
- Implement and enforce security protocols and measures to protect company data and systems.
- Implement disaster recovery site and data migration.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and low-level design for the existing environment.
- Create and maintain Server Policies and Servers Security Standards.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support to end-users and assist with user training as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in system administration.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
