Job Description
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at United Bank Limited. As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance our bank’s operations, improve customer experience, and drive strategic decision-making.
Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced data science solutions to address critical business challenges and identify new opportunities by developing and deploying modern machine learning and predictive models.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Data Science team to analyze and understand business requirements
- Collaborate with Data Engineering for solutions recommendation
- Conduct POC and Pilot Projects showcasing AI, Advanced Analytics, and Big Data benefits
- Utilize tools like SAS, Python, etc., for delivering analytics solutions
- Hands-on data wrangling for insights development
- Present findings to stakeholders and participate in brainstorming sessions
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Sciences or relevant field from any HEC-recognized Institute
Minimum Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in data-driven fields (e.g. Data Science, Advanced Analytics)
Job Specific Skills:
- Programming languages proficiency (e.g. R, Python)
- Strong Statistical and Machine Learning concepts understanding
- Data analytics, AI, and Machine Learning exposure
- Requirement gathering and problem-solving for data science solutions
