Job Description

· Implement and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions to secure network entry points, enforcing security policies for all connected devices.

· Monitor network traffic for anomalies using Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) and conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities.

· Set up and maintain data encryption standards for sensitive information across network traffic, storage, and backups, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

· Configure and monitor endpoint security solutions on devices such as laptops, desktops, and mobile devices to prevent malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.

· Establish and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) systems for sensitive areas and high-risk operations, including VPN access and privileged accounts.

· Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and least privilege principles for network, server, and data access, regularly reviewing access rights and policies.

· Regularly conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on network devices, servers, and data repositories, ensuring quick remediation of identified risks.

· Stay updated with cybersecurity trends and threats to proactively adjust security measures, participate in threat intelligence sharing, and develop security awareness among staff.

· Document and respond to data breaches or security incidents by coordinating with relevant stakeholders, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
