Job Description
Purpose of the Job:
The construction manager ensures timely execution of projects in compliance with time, cost, and quality, following drawings and maintaining a safe environment.
Main Accountabilities:
- Deliver construction projects as per schedule.
- Create action plans for contractors and monitor cost control.
- Execute work based on drawings and specifications.
- Overcome hurdles and risks to project progress.
- Facilitate contractors, clarify RFI’s, and achieve key milestones.
- Manage material demand, acquisition, and site delivery.
- Ensure work is done with health and safety measures.
- Maintain quality workmanship and adequate manpower.
- Monitor and update management on project progress.
- Coordinate between head office and site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering.
- Masters in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Project Management (preferred).
Experience Required:
- Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in construction.
