Job Description
Our Client, a Multinational Healthcare Company based in Karachi, is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team. This is a contractual position with a duration of 18 months.
Salary Package: – Monthly salary: 80 to 90k
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Valid PEC (RE) Certificate is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software, with sound knowledge of ACI/ASTM codes.
- 5-6 years of experience in the field.
Job Duties:
- Review tender documentation conditions, scope of work, and specifications for civil works in detail.
- Prepare and analyze tender stage enquiries to ensure compliance with contract specification and cost optimization.
- Establish design/drawings and material submission/deliverable schedule with suppliers in coordination with design coordinator.
- Support engineering lead in building services installation and ensure compliance with approved construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform inspections of reinforcement, formwork, and concrete activities.
- Ensure the use of current drawings and properly file superseded drawings.
- Assist the Project Engineer in the verification of Bar Bending Schedule and Interim Payment Certificates.
