Job Description
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide clean, structured data for analysis.
- Optimize and maintain existing data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data workflows.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity.
- Work with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) and relevant technologies (e.g., Spark, SQL, and NoSQL databases).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business needs into data engineering solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.
- Advanced Microsoft Office especially Excel (vLookup).
- Advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, match/index, pivot tables/charts).
- Using specialist tools to extract the data needed for B2B and B2C customers (Manufacturers/Importers/Industrialists).
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix-style organization, and communicate with all technical partners, key stakeholders, as well as database and technology teammates.
