Employment Type: Full-Time Contractual (Close-ended)
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Job Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible for real-time analysis of complex and dynamic data to achieve deliverables. Additionally, they will be responsible for the publication of scientific manuscripts based on the analysis of BIG data.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the cleaning, organization, and analysis of complex, dynamic BIG data from multiple sources, including electronic immunization registries and paper-based and android-based surveys.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports through advanced coding and analytical skills.
- Carry out extensive data analysis to propose evidence-based solutions.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to identify and rectify data-related complexities.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure privacy and security of all data handled.
- Provide training to other team members.
- Perform any other task as assigned by the line manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (ksas):
Required Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s in Statistics/Epidemiology/Biostatistics/Economics
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

- Organizing and Planning Skills
- Proficient in STATA or SPSS or SAS or R Statistical Tools
