Job Description
The Aga Khan University Hospital is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to patients under one roof. It has a wide network of secondary care hospitals, medical centers, and clinical laboratories all over Pakistan. The hospital provides Zakat for eligible patients and generous Patient Welfare for those in financial need. It is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) and the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for its high quality and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate safe handling and proper use of equipment/supplies.
- Provide high-quality personalized planned holistic nursing care to assigned patients.
- Administer medication safely, monitor patient responses, and report findings promptly.
- Counsel and educate patients on health behaviors.
- Demonstrate competence in patient assessment and care planning.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) or Post RN BScN.
- At least one year of work experience in a reputable hospital.
- Valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council.
- Certification in BLS, CPR, Safe Medication Administration, I/V Canulation, ECG Interpretation, and Aseptic Techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in shift duties.
