Job Description
Job Purpose:
To oversee the implementation of the Cambridge International curriculum, ensuring high academic standards, supporting teachers with lesson planning, and maintaining an effective and well-organized learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum management:
- Ensure effective delivery of the Cambridge curriculum across all grades.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans aligned with Cambridge standards.
- Review and update curriculum materials to meet Cambridge guidelines.
- Teacher support:
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding qualified Cambridge teachers.
- Provide support, coaching, and training to teaching staff.
- Monitor and evaluate teacher performance for continuous improvement.
- Student assessment:
- Oversee Cambridge assessments and examinations implementation.
- Analyze student performance data for improvement areas.
- Create intervention plans for students needing support.
- Parental engagement:
- Organize parent-teacher meetings for student progress discussions.
- Act as a liaison between parents and school administration on academic matters.
- Address parental concerns regarding the Cambridge curriculum and student performance.
- Administrative duties:
- Maintain accurate academic records, grades, attendance, and student progress reports.
- Participate in Cambridge training sessions and assist in policy development related to academics and student conduct.
