Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Solar Engineer located in Karachi. The Solar Engineer will be responsible for designing solar power systems, performing feasibility studies, creating and verifying engineering specifications, cost estimates and collaborating with cross-functional teams including electricians and maintenance technicians. The Solar Engineer will also be responsible for evaluating the performance of solar power systems and ensuring that they meet safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Experience with designing solar power systems and performing feasibility studies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other solar design software
- Knowledge of local and international solar regulations, standards, and safety codes
- Experience in supervising and managing teams of electricians, technicians, and installers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience in project management and budgeting skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical data and specifications for solar power systems
