Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plant Supervisor to oversee operations at our copper plant. The ideal candidate will manage daily production activities, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and supervise a team of workers to meet production goals effectively.
- Lead and supervise a team of workers in daily plant operations, including smelting, casting, and machining of copper products.
- Assign tasks to team members and ensure production schedules are met.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper functioning of machinery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production or equipment in a timely manner.
- Ensure production meets company standards for quality and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of work processes and finished products.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety drills and ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
- Train and mentor workers on production processes and safety procedures.
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
