Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Microwave Network Engineer located in Islamabad, Pakistan. As a Microwave Network Engineer at Huawei Pakistan, you will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting Live Network issues within SLA
- Customer Queries / Service Request Handling
- Customer Training
- Health Check / Network insight Inspections
- Risk Identification and Mitigation
You will be a part of a diverse and highly skilled team, working at the forefront of technology to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum 5 ~ 6 years of experience in Microwave Network Integration, troubleshooting, and Optimization
- Experience with Microwave network testing and troubleshooting, with knowledge of GSM/LTE principles and practices and Basic knowledge of Datacom Networks
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for Microwave radio installation and commissioning
- Proficiency with network software and optimization tools (such as iMaster NCE-T, WebLCT, Optical Navigator)
- Experience in Huawei RTN Product (Optix RTN 600, Optix RTN 900, Optix RTN 300 Series all devices)
- Experience with Microwave link reliability analysis, interference analysis, and capacity planning in low and high capacity links.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic team environment
- Professional certification in Microwave Network Design and Optimization will be an added advantage
- Fluency in English is mandatory
