Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Service Officers – Transactional Banking. This is a permanent position available in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

Position Summary:

The Service Officers will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality banking services to clients. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards and processes to enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Resolve all complaints promptly according to SBP guidelines and internal policy.
  2. Maintain records of all correspondence with customers and regulatory bodies for auditing purposes.
  3. Acknowledge and resolve assigned complaints, ensuring timely interim responses if needed.
  4. Adhere to the bank’s complaints handling procedure and policy.
  5. Provide feedback to management on issues arising from complaints.
  6. Review and prioritize every complaint to ensure fair treatment of customers.
  7. Analyze handled complaints and suggest improvements where possible.
  8. Establish a comprehensive Complaint Management system to resolve all complaints efficiently.
  9. Identify process gaps and conduct root cause analysis of complaints for prevention.
  10. Respond to all complaints via email, letter, or telephone with adequate correspondence.

Job Specifications (Unique Knowledge & Skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance/complaint management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of employee banking processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for providing constructive feedback and presenting findings.
