Job Description
Responsibilities
- Attend and Coordinate Coalition meetings, keep/circulate minutes and maintain coalition documents and records
- Conduct and/or assist with research on mental health
- Assist core team with drafting tactical and strategic plans, documents, write articles and create advocacy resources
- Engage in or assist with report writing
- Coordinate and execute events, webinars, trainings and other advocacy activities including execution of campaign plans targeting the general public
Experience
- 1. Background in mental health (either one of the below)
- Degree in psychology or counselling (mandatory)
- Degree in public health or health management (preferred)
- Lived experience with mental illness (preferred)
2. At least 1-2 years’ experience of coordination, advocacy, or public sector work.
3. Candidate must demonstrate strong drafting skills
4. Candidate must have exceptional communication skills
