Job Description
Currently, we’re on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 1 plus year of experience. The primary tasks will include deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting infrastructure, working on Linux, resolving bugs, and maintaining our software systems. You will work closely with developers to ensure that our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.
Essential experience and skills:
- Automation and Programming: Extensive experience in automation and programming. Technical proficiency across the full DevOps spectrum.
- Server Management: Server hardening, performance tuning, and patching. Configuration and management of data sources like SQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Jasper. Proficiency in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining servers.
- Development Experience: Development experience in at least one of the following languages: NodeJS, Python, PHP.
- Security Expertise: Strong understanding of security protocols and access controls. Dedication to server hardening for maintaining a secure server environment.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficient in working with technologies such as GitHub, AWS (ECS, EC2, S3), Docker, and load balancing.
- Continuous Learning: Dedication to staying updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and trends in DevOps and server management.
Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: Prior experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role in software engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of Linux, Python, Testing, Bug resolutions. Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3) and GitHub. Experience with Docker and load balancing.
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash.
