Job Description

Qualification:

Preferably a Master’s degree or, at least, a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer and Software Engineering, Information Technology, and/or an equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized university/institute or a reputable foreign University. Certified in CISM/CISSP/CISA or equivalent security certifications.

Key Responsibilities/Required Skill Set:

• Ensure the effective functioning of Information Security and Governance and Security Operations Center divisions.
• Develop and implement information security policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective IT Security across the bank.
• Identify potential risks and evaluate compliance in line with the bank’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with information security standards adopted by the bank.
• Supervise periodic risk assessments, internal and external penetration testing, as well as vulnerability scanning of the information assets.
• Supervise the maintenance of (SIEM) Security Information & Event Management solutions.
• Recommend best tools and practices to ensure effective and efficient investigations.
• Keep the Senior Management and Board committees informed about information security-related initiatives and testing assessments results.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to information security and technology.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber threats and countermeasures.
• Leadership, motivational, team-building, risk assessment, critical thinking, and multitasking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management practices & financial modeling.
• Ability to work under pressure, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Location: Lahore

Experience: Minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant experience.
